After a first step into UX in my final year of my degree at UoM, by submitting a thesis that compared the effects of UX on Usability; I then continued on to interest myself in UX, and apply techniques learned in various projects.

However, all work and no play does make Jack a dull boy. I spend my off-time doing occasional DIY, racking up miles on two wheels, and practicing the art of brewing the perfect cup of coffee.
I say find a job you love, and it will be easy to work hard. This is definitely true for me. I love the work and I like the industry. The people I meet on a daily basis all can talk tech and embrace the ins and outs of an ever-changing tech landscape.
I like to think that I'm able to make a difference, make the web a better place for developers and users alike. Hopefully we cross paths in the real world someday and we can collaborate to make it a better place together.
